Description
This Sources Sought notice seeks construction subcontractors for AHU Replacement, Package 2. The scope includes extending chilled-water and hot-heating-water lines from the building's high roof to its low roof, removing existing air-handling units, and purchasing and installing new roof-mounted AHUs. Work will occur in a restricted, high-security area and requires coordination with a related existing project. Interested offerors must demonstrate at least five years of experience managing and executing prime construction projects valued from $10 million to $20 million, including two similar utility-construction projects completed within the specified five-year period. Mandatory qualifications also include a compliant environmental health and safety program, specified OSHA and experience-modification-rate metrics, no willful or repeat OSHA violations in the past five years, valid California general-building and business licenses, at least $20 million in aggregate bonding capacity, and a local office within 100 miles of the Livermore facility or a commitment to establish one within two months after award. Responses must address each mandatory requirement and include the requested verification documentation.
