Description
Clinton County is accepting competitive proposals from organizations and community groups to develop, implement, enhance, or expand evidence-based strategies and promising practices addressing opioid prevention, harm reduction, treatment, recovery, substance use disorders, polysubstance use, and co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Priority areas include prevention, education, treatment, recovery, access to care, medication-assisted treatment, naloxone and overdose prevention, syringe services, recovery infrastructure, and services for populations most affected by the epidemic. Applicants must describe the proposed project and implementation plan, coordination with other agencies, community impact, sustainability, anticipated outcomes, evaluation work plan, equity and reach, and a detailed budget. Indirect costs may not exceed 15% of awarded funds. Awardees must use funds during calendar year 2027, submit quarterly progress reports and an annual report, and comply with opioid-remediation requirements. The maximum total funding available to all recipients is $250,000, subject to fund availability and satisfactory performance.
