The North Canton Community Improvement Corporation (CIC) is soliciting proposals for the purchase and development of a 0.95-acre vacant parcel located on Wilbur Dr. NE near its intersection with North Main Street in North Canton, Ohio. The property is zoned Main Street North Gateway (MS-NG) and permits a variety of uses including multi-unit residential, offices, retail, restaurants, and personal services. The CIC prefers a retail or office development that will add jobs, expand the tax base, and provide amenities for residents. The asking price for the property is $325,000, and the selected developer will be required to complete the project within 24 months of property transfer. Proposals must include a cover letter, development proposal, project timeline, sources and uses of funds, requests for assistance, and past project experience.
