Description
Perry Township is soliciting bids for exclusive residential curbside collection and delivery for processing or disposal of solid waste, recyclable materials, yard waste, and bulk materials throughout the unincorporated areas of the Township. The contractor must provide weekly collection, recycling collection and processing, yard-waste service under multiple pricing scenarios, bulk-item collection, optional chlorofluorocarbon removal, and optional wheeled-container rentals. The contractor must also provide collection and recycling services, including dumpsters, at Township-owned buildings, parks, and other public facilities at no charge. The scope requires the contractor to furnish all labor, vehicles, equipment, containers, and materials; bill residential subscribers directly; maintain collection vehicles and customer-service capabilities; use approved disposal facilities; and provide required reporting. Bidders must submit pricing, qualifications, prior-service references, fleet information, financial statements, affidavits and forms, insurance documentation, and bid security. The solicitation permits subcontracting, subject to the prime contractor retaining responsibility for performance.
