Description
The City of Alliance is soliciting sealed bids for materials to be purchased during 2027 for various city departments. Requested supplies include water and wastewater treatment chemicals; liquid emulsion polymer; water meters and radios; ductile iron and PVC pipe, fittings, valves, repair clamps, dressers, curb boxes, and fire hydrants; and paving materials such as limestone, gravel, slag, asphalt products, road oil, sealer, and concrete. Bidders may submit proposals for any requested items. Specifications require delivery to designated city facilities, including water and wastewater treatment plants and other municipal departments. Certain products have detailed technical requirements, including applicable AWWA, ANSI/NSF, Ohio Department of Transportation, and EPA standards; American-made materials are required for pipe, fittings, valves, and hydrants. The liquid emulsion polymer bidder must complete performance testing at the wastewater treatment plant before the bid deadline. Bids must use the provided proposal forms, include bidder contact information, and be submitted in sealed envelopes with the specified markings.
