Description
West Virginia State University is soliciting bids for removal of the existing roof and installation of a new EPDM roofing system at its University Union. The work includes roof insulation, membrane flashings, sheet-metal flashing and trim, roof-edge specialties and drainage components, and related carpentry. The specifications call for a 60-mil EPDM membrane and a 20-year total-system warranty. Bidders must include a five-percent bid bond or an allowed equivalent and an executed Drug-Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit. The successful bidder must provide performance, labor and material payment, and maintenance bonds as specified.
