Description
The West Virginia Lottery seeks a qualified architectural and engineering firm to assess the existing HVAC system and related structural infrastructure at its headquarters, then develop replacement and upgrade options, a complete design, and construction documents. The system includes approximately 44 units, and the design must address mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and architectural/structural considerations, energy efficiency, maintainability, and estimated construction costs. The selected firm will also develop a phased construction plan to support continued business operations and provide construction administration services. The scope includes evaluating and designing replacement or upgrades to the building automation control system that remotely monitors HVAC equipment. The expression of interest must describe the firm's qualifications, experience, past performance, proposed approach, and relevant commercial HVAC replacement projects of similar scale and complexity. Price or fee information is prohibited in the EOI. The agency plans to interview the three firms it determines are most qualified; interview materials are not part of the initial submission.
