Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting proposals for Electronic Health Record Modernization infrastructure upgrades at the Alexandria VA Medical Center and associated community-based outpatient clinics. The scope includes electrical panel and normal/emergency power upgrades; bonding and UPS systems; Building Management System interfaces; HVAC assessment and upgrades; demolition, new construction, finishes, space reconfiguration, expansion, and renovation; data-center rack, cabinet, and cable-management work; new data outlets and patch panels; Cat 6A communications cabling; physical security upgrades; campus-wide fiber-backbone assessment and upgrades, including diversified wide-area-network paths; and hazardous-material abatement. The work covers numerous buildings at the medical-center campus and the Jennings, Fort Polk, Lafayette, Lafayette Campus B, and Natchitoches community-based outpatient clinics. This is a firm-fixed-price construction contract with an 820-calendar-day period of performance after receipt of the notice to proceed. The opportunity is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside. Amendment 0004 extends the offer deadline to September 18, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. EDT.
