Description
Rapides Parish Police Jury is soliciting bids for improvements to Sunkhills Road and Lena-Flatwoods Road in District E. The work includes constructing new asphaltic-concrete base courses and overlays on approximately 0.4 miles of Sunkhills Road and 0.7 miles of Lena-Flatwoods Road, with specified roadway widths and asphalt thicknesses. Bids are due by 10:00 a.m. on September 16, 2026, and will be publicly opened. Electronic submission is available through Bidnet Direct, and paper bidding documents may be obtained from Pan American Engineers, LLC for a $150 deposit per set. A bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid price is required; the successful bidder must provide 100% performance and payment bonds.
