Description
Boone County is soliciting a contractor to dismantle and dispose of the existing Trane air-handling unit at the Boone County Annex and furnish and install a new air-handling unit. The work includes associated HVAC, plumbing, electrical, controls, ductwork, refrigerant piping, testing, adjusting, air balancing, commissioning, operating instruction, and cleanup in accordance with the bid documents and HVAC plans. The bidder must submit a lump-sum bid, proposed working days, and the required bid forms and certifications. A 5% bid bond or certified check is required with the bid; the successful contractor must later provide performance and labor-and-material payment bonds, each for the full contract price. Insurance requirements include workers’ compensation, employers’ liability, commercial general liability, business automobile liability, and builder’s risk coverage.
