Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting a sources-sought/RFI for a potential service agreement covering full-service preventive and unscheduled/emergent maintenance, testing, parts, labor, and travel for 14 automatic transfer switches at Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital. The equipment includes ASCO Series 7000 switches, a Zenith transfer switch, and a Metron transfer switch, with annual maintenance required for each unit. Work includes inspections, cleaning, lubrication, contact and component checks, adjustment of sensitivity settings and time delays, operational testing, replacement of necessary parts, and compliance with NFPA 110 and manufacturer specifications. Preventive maintenance must be performed by manufacturer-certified technicians, and respondents must demonstrate appropriate OEM training and access to OEM proprietary information. The contractor must provide service tickets, electronic service reports, lockout/tagout records, and an annual condition and maintenance report.
