Description
The Petersburg School District is soliciting proposals from qualified speech and language therapists to provide itinerant services for the 2025-2026 school year. The contractor will perform screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for students aged 3-21 (pre-K through 12th grade), with an estimated caseload of 50 students. Services include developing IEP goals, providing staff training, and collaborating with special education teachers. The contract covers 21 student contact days and 15 non-student contact days, totaling 105 hours for screening, evaluation, direct student contact, collaboration, and training. Additional hours may be requested based on student needs. The therapist must hold a Master's degree in speech therapy, valid Alaska licensure, and preferably a Type C Special Services certificate. Experience in pediatric and school-based settings is preferred.
