Description
The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, testing, and incidentals to install a new residential Arctic water well for one home in Nenana, Alaska. The scope includes well drilling and development; well casing, screen, grout, sanitary cap, pump, drop pipe, pitless adapter, pressure tank, controls, and related appurtenances; water quality testing and disinfection; a water service line; heat trace and controls; an Arctic box; mobilization and demobilization; site clearing, grading, cleanup, landscaping, seeding, and restoration. The base bid includes a drainback system, with an additive alternate for a circulating water system where permafrost is encountered. The bid form includes unit-price and lump-sum items for well drilling, well screen, test pumping, sanitary grout, disinfection and water analysis, well appurtenances, water service line, heat trace, Arctic box, mobilization, demobilization, site clearing, grading, and an optional circulating water system. The contractor must provide required product and construction submittals, daily logs and photographs, well and pump records, water analysis results, as-built documentation, and other closeout deliverables. Substantial completion is required by May 31, 2027, and final completion by June 30, 2027.
