Description
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is seeking a vendor to provide snowplowing and ice/snow removal services at Glacier View Community Center. The work includes monitoring snow accumulation, responding to authorized call-outs, plowing to within one inch of the existing surface, stacking snow in designated areas, and completing operations within the specified response and completion timelines. Sidewalk snow removal is not required. Vendors must provide appropriately sized, four-wheel-drive plow trucks and qualified personnel, maintain equipment in safe operating condition, and comply with applicable safety, licensing, insurance, and reporting requirements. The initial agreement runs from purchase-order execution through June 30, 2027, with an estimated 14 plowing occurrences. Quotes will be evaluated on the lowest total quote price, and quotes over $50,000 may not be accepted.
