The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service anticipates awarding a single firm-fixed-price, two-phase design-build construction contract for demolition of an existing cold storage building and design and construction of a new detached cold storage facility of approximately 5,500 to 5,800 square feet at the Alaska Peninsula/Becharof National Wildlife Refuge. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, transportation, shipping, handling, logistics support, and incidentals required for the work, including delivery to the remote project site. This is a total small-business set-aside under FAR 19.502-2. The estimated construction magnitude is $1,000,000 to $5,000,000. The procurement will use two-phase design-build selection procedures and a best-value tradeoff evaluating anticipated experience and technical capability, past performance, and price. The final solicitation package and detailed requirements will be issued later; offerors must be actively registered in SAM to be eligible for award.
