Description
The Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services requires grounds maintenance at Building J-1334 and Lots 5 and 6 at Fort Bragg. The approximately 13.15-acre service area is predominantly concrete, gravel, or asphalt and requires mowing, weeding, trimming, edging, litter and debris removal, fence-line clearing, vegetation removal around fire hydrants and paved areas, and trimming of shrubs and bushes. The contractor must provide trained personnel, supervision, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, products, supplies, quality control, and required personal protective equipment. The updated requirement includes 20 complete lawn service cycles, two herbicide applications, and one one-time overgrowth-clearing service. The overgrowth work covers weeds, trees, vines, brush, saplings, and volunteer trees within five feet of security perimeter fences and building perimeters, including removal and off-site disposal of resulting debris. Services are scheduled as needed, generally Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and requested landscaping services must be completed within five days of request. Award will use a trade-off between price and past performance, with past performance significantly more important than price; the contract consists of one 12-month firm-fixed-price period.
