The U.S. Army Special Operations Command is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to identify commercially available, mature, and emerging wearable safety and physiological monitoring solutions for Army Special Operations Forces training. The desired system should support real-time two-way communication between wearers and cadre, near-real-time GPS location tracking with geofencing and distress alerts, and continuous biometric monitoring, including core body temperature and heart rate, to help detect physiological distress and locate personnel requiring assistance. Additional desired capabilities include an AI-enabled command dashboard capable of monitoring more than 400 devices, historical data and after-action analytics, ruggedized IP67-or-higher hardware, battery life exceeding 24 hours, an audible distress beacon, operation in degraded or disconnected environments, and cybersecurity features aligned with DoD RMF, FIPS 140-2/140-3 encryption, and PHI/PII handling requirements. Respondents must submit an eight-page-or-less white paper or product data sheet addressing company information, solution capabilities, technical maturity, cybersecurity, implementation and sustainment, current contract vehicles, and optionally a rough-order-of-magnitude pricing model.
