Description
Eastern Kentucky University is seeking one or more contractors to provide boiler technician services on an as-needed basis. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, tools, and trucks necessary for the work. Bidders submit hourly rates for weekday, Saturday, Sunday, and holiday labor, plus a fixed-fee adder for materials and rentals; rates must include tools, trucks, and mileage. There is no guaranteed number of work hours, and the University may request separate quotes or conduct competitive bids for larger projects. The resulting non-exclusive price contract is intended for smaller projects and may be awarded to multiple vendors. Contractors must have equipment available within 30 miles of Richmond, Kentucky, and provide at least three references for similar services performed within the last five years. Work is authorized as needed by University representatives, and the solicitation evaluates labor rates, equipment/office location, available personnel, and references.
