Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a thyroid uptake system, brand name or equal to the Captus 4000e with a 1-inch well, for measuring radioactive iodine uptake. The system must meet the listed technical requirements, including a multichannel analyzer, calibration and testing functions, dose-counting modes, wipe-test and bioassay capabilities, laboratory testing, reporting, a DICOM interface, and an adjustable stand and collimator arm. The purchase includes a DICOM interface, neck phantom, rod source holder, delivery, installation, and one year of technical support. The contractor must install and calibrate the system, verify that it is operational, and train clinical staff. The offer must include a manufacturer-signed letter, no older than one year, confirming the offeror is an authorized distributor, as well as the completed VA limitations-on-subcontracting certificate and Buy American Certificate. The solicitation is a 100% Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business set-aside, requires an authorized distributor, and states that partial offers will not be accepted.
