Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for corrective and annual preventive maintenance of GE imaging equipment, including a Definium 5000 radiographic system, an Optima CT660 scanner, an OEC Elite system, a workstation, and a Powerware UPS. The contractor must provide the labor and parts needed for maintenance and repairs, software and firmware updates, safety and reliability modifications, equipment verification, and 24/7 emergency telephone consultation. The scope also includes on-site response within four hours, next-day repair parts, qualified field service engineers, and service documentation. The notice requests capability information and a GE authorization letter from firms that believe they are authorized to perform the work; it is not a request for competitive quotes.
