Description
The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways, seeks an annual maintenance and support plan for an ARL Perform’X 1500 XRF spectrometer. The vendor must be authorized by Thermo Fisher Scientific to service the equipment and provide consumables without voiding the manufacturer’s warranty. The service plan must include one preventive-maintenance visit, unlimited on-site service visits with a response time of no more than three business days, unlimited telephone and internet support, software updates, and consumables for the preventive-maintenance visit, including O-rings, oil, a bulb, sample calibration standards, setup standards and control samples, and cassettes. Pricing must include an all-inclusive annual service rate, optional renewal-year rates, discounted pricing for consumable parts, and discounts on software and hardware upgrades. The vendor must also provide an hourly training rate if requested. The service term begins November 1, 2026, lasts one year, and may be renewed as specified on the pricing page. The award is based on the lowest overall total cost among bids meeting the specifications.
