Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract for Radiation Safety Officer and medical physicist services at nine VA medical facilities. The scope includes radiation safety program oversight, regulatory compliance, quality assurance and performance testing for diagnostic imaging equipment, imaging protocol and dose-optimization consultation, and related reporting and training. The initial seed task order covers the Wilmington VA Medical Center and associated clinics, with services including testing of radiographic, fluoroscopic, CT, MRI, dental, and nuclear medicine equipment, as well as radiation safety support. The solicitation states a five-year ordering period, subject to a $6 million ceiling, and a $1,500 minimum guarantee. The contract is set aside for certified service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses; the solicitation also imposes a limitation on subcontracting.
