Description
The Town of Liberty is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide professional property tax assessing services on a part-time, contractual basis. The selected contractor will serve as the Town's Assessor's Agent and administer a fair and equitable property tax assessment program in accordance with Maine law, including financial and property revaluation services. Full services are anticipated to commence in mid-to-late October 2026, with a preferred transition period allowing overlap and coordination with the current Assessing Agent.
