Description
The Maine Department of Transportation is soliciting bids for the supply and delivery of expansion devices and fabric troughs for the Penobscot Bridge. The contract requires four items: two expansion devices (finger joints) and two fabric troughs, for installation at Pier No. 1 and Abutment No. 2. Delivery is to the MaineDOT Bridge Maintenance Lot in the Town of Carmel, Maine, approximately 0.25 miles easterly of Horseback Road. Materials must be ready for delivery on or before May 31, 2027, with the actual delivery date coordinated with the project schedule. The bid opening date is September 23, 2026, at 12:00 p.m.; the previously recorded September 9, 2026, date is superseded.
