SUNY Upstate Medical University is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for insurance collection services specifically for high-dollar accounts ranging from $500 to $2,500. The selected contractor will be responsible for collecting outstanding insurance payments from patients or insurers. The contract term is five years. This opportunity is limited to New York State businesses certified as Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprises (MWBE) or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses (SDVOB). The successful contractor will be required to submit documents related to vendor responsibility, NYS Finance Law Section 139-j&k, and NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, as well as valid NYS Workers' Compensation and Disability Benefits insurance certificates.
