Description
The University of South Florida, on behalf of the Florida Institute of Oceanography, is seeking agreements with qualified shipyards to provide maintenance and repairs as needed for two oceanographic research vessels: the R/V W. T. Hogarth and the R/V Weatherbird II. The vessels support research missions in the Gulf of Mexico, the southeastern Atlantic, and the U.S. Caribbean. The solicitation is an Invitation to Negotiate. Suppliers must register and submit bids through the USF Sourcing Portal by the stated deadline; submissions are not accepted by fax or email. An optional virtual pre-proposal meeting and optional vessel site visit are scheduled, and suppliers are strongly encouraged to inspect the vessels and existing conditions before submitting pricing. Evaluation may include requests for additional information and supplier interviews.
