Description
The U.S. Navy is soliciting a firm-fixed-price contractor to perform ship repair and maintenance for the USS McCampbell (DDG-85), including repair of structural members and foundations for the MK 38 Mod 2 stabilized chain gun. The work includes the two identified Task Group Instructions, associated materials, management, scheduling, testing, quality assurance, technical documentation, and related shipboard support. The contractor must be authorized to operate and do business in Japan and must hold an active U.S. Navy Master Ship Repair Agreement or Agreement for Boat Repair as a prime contractor by the proposal submission date. The proposal must include a completed SF 33, applicable amendment acknowledgments, the completed price proposal breakdown, associated vendor quotes, current MSRA/ABR certification, documentation demonstrating authorization to do business in Japan when applicable, and completed Attachment V. Award will be based primarily on lowest evaluated price, subject to technical acceptability.
