Description
St. Clair County Community Mental Health is soliciting a provider agency to operate a children's crisis residential home. The home must be a six-bedroom, one-story residence and may be owned by the provider or the agency. The provider must accept crisis placements within 24 hours and non-crisis placements within 72 hours. Services require on-site supervisory coverage for both day and afternoon shifts, with supervisors meeting specified mental-health education and experience requirements. Nursing coverage must be provided by an RN or LPN under appropriate supervision. The provider is responsible for ensuring staff receive the required annual Children's Diagnostic and Treatment Specific Training. Performance indicators in the RFP are samples and may be revised for the final program.
