Description
The City of Mount Clemens is soliciting a construction contractor to remove the existing temporary concrete and construct a new fountain system integrated with a stage. The work includes structural concrete and vault construction, architectural finishes, fountain pumps, filtration, piping, waterproofing, programmable controls, electrical service and wiring, underwater lighting, utility connections, system startup, testing, commissioning, and owner training. The project also includes paver and concrete pavement work, shade-canopy installation, fountain lettering and logos, amenity relocation, traffic control, pedestrian and business access, erosion and sedimentation controls, and audio-visual documentation of existing conditions. The bid package requires a bid form, 5% bid security, qualifications and project references, subcontractor information, several certifications and affidavits, and compliance with insurance, bonding, Michigan construction standards, and Build America, Buy America requirements. Substantial completion is required by June 15, 2027, with final completion by July 15, 2027.
