Description
The Charter Township of Clinton is soliciting bids from prequalified contractors for water main installations along Penrod Drive from Payne Street to Kelly Road and along Crocker Boulevard from Albert Boulevard to Union Lake Road. The work primarily includes approximately 1,246 linear feet of 8-inch HDPE water main installed by horizontal directional drilling and 78 linear feet of 8-inch C900 DR14 water main installed by open-cut trenching, along with hydrant assemblies, gate valves, gate wells, water main connections, and cut-and-plug work on existing mains. The scope also includes mobilization, traffic control and maintenance, tree and brush clearing, erosion and sedimentation controls, drainage culverts, topsoil and hydroseeding, pavement and driveway restoration, testing, disinfection, cleanup, and related incidental work. Bidders must be prequalified for the applicable water main installation/replacement and horizontal directional drilling categories before bid opening, and must submit the required bid security and supporting documentation.
