Description
St. Clair County is seeking consulting services to update its 2019 Trails Strategy and Action Plan. The work includes inventorying existing non-motorized trail conditions, updating GIS databases and maps, identifying network gaps, evaluating connectivity and routing alternatives, analyzing parcels, environmental constraints, accessibility, safety, permitting, and construction feasibility, and developing recommended trail characteristics and alignments. The consultant will support stakeholder coordination, planning committee meetings, public meetings and outreach, prioritization and phasing recommendations, cost estimates, funding strategies, and mitigation planning. Deliverables include technical summaries, maps and graphics, a draft strategic plan, a final vision plan with executive summary in PDF and editable formats, GIS files, and presentations. The target project deadline is June 2027.
