Description
METRO Regional Transit Authority is soliciting proposals for a turnkey bus video surveillance system covering approximately 270 fixed-route, paratransit, service, police, and supervisory vehicles. The contractor must design, furnish, install, configure, test, integrate, train users on, warrant, and support the system, including onboard network video recorders, transit-hardened cameras, GPS, wireless connectivity, live monitoring, video analytics, audio recording, event tagging, mobile access, and secure video export. The scope also includes a back-office solution with software, licenses, servers or cloud infrastructure, storage, network hardware, multi-camera playback, remote access, role-based access controls, and support for at least 20 simultaneous users. The contractor must integrate the system with the buyer's wireless and IT environment, provide spare parts and diagnostic tools, conduct site surveys and progressive installation, perform acceptance testing, provide manuals and hands-on training, and offer a minimum three-year hardware warranty plus an optional maintenance agreement. Proposals are evaluated on project team, technical approach, similar-project experience, and pricing.
