Description
METRO Regional Transit Authority (METRO RTA) is soliciting proposals from qualified law firms and legal service providers to establish a qualified pool of firms to provide legal counsel, advisory services, and representation in support of METRO RTA's governance responsibilities, business operations, and compliance obligations to the Governing Board. The selected firm(s) will provide a broad scope of legal services including general legal counsel, board governance, labor and employment, human resources, employee relations and negotiations, facilities and construction, real estate, public contracting, and litigation. The contract will have a base term of three (3) years with two (2) one-year options. METRO reserves the right to award multiple contracts based on its evaluation process. The firm must be able to provide immediate consultation, attend monthly Board meetings, and be available for accident litigation within 30 minutes. The evaluation will consider qualifications, experience, and price, with separate phases for Labor & Employment and General Counsel.
