Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs, on behalf of the James H. Quillen VAMC, intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-priced contract to Bayer HealthCare LLC for Medrad Centargo CT Injection Systems. These systems are required for the Radiology Department and must be compatible with the hospital's existing Philips CT Scanner. Key features include multi-patient/extended-use bulk contrast delivery, advanced patient safety safeguards, independent air detection, real-time pressure monitoring, and touchscreen programmable protocol management. The system must also be validated and approved under the June 2026 VistA Imaging Approved DICOM Modality Interfaces listing. The contract will include the purchase of three Medrad Centargo CT Injection Systems, six Essential SW Service Plan Custom Configuration plans, three installations, and six Annual Subscribe Dictation Int SW. The vendor is also responsible for delivery, installation, configuration, functional testing, and training of clinical staff. The estimated contract amount is $157,978.00.
