Description
This is a Sources Sought Notice / Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs for planning purposes. The VA is seeking information on potential qualified sources capable of providing a Patient Vest Airway Clearance System and its components, which are intended for use at multiple VA San Diego Medical Centers. The RFI includes a list of draft salient characteristics, such as a remote control, single-patient disposable wraps, a pause feature, a digital display, adjustable height, disposable hoses, programmable options, and multiple adult patient size options. Responses should include company capabilities, feedback on requirements, business size status and representation, information on whether the company is a manufacturer or authorized distributor, lead time, estimated lifespan, FDA clearance status, leasing solutions, any existing federal contracts, and pricing information. Compliance with the Buy American Act and Trade Agreements Act is also requested, including country of origin, domestic content percentage, and availability of compliant alternatives.
