Description
The North Carolina Department of Public Safety (DPS), Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) is seeking bids from prequalified vendors for acquisition and demolition construction services. This Invitation for Bid (IFB) covers Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) project 4827-0040, Mitchell County ACQ Demo Group 1. Vendors will be responsible for various steps in the acquisition process, including property owner notification, title searches, appraisals, and providing written offers to purchase. For demolition services, vendors will be responsible for pre-demolition evaluations, obtaining permits, mobilization, site preparation, deactivation of utilities, demolition, removal of underground improvements, debris removal, land restoration, and post-demolition evaluations. The contract will have an initial term of one year, with potential for adjustments based on project timelines and unforeseen circumstances.
