Description
Henderson County Public Schools (HCPS) is soliciting proposals from qualified staffing agencies to provide temporary, licensed Exceptional Children (EC) Teachers. The selected vendor(s) will support the EC Department by filling staffing needs across elementary, middle, and high schools within the district. The initial term of service is one academic year, with options for two additional one-year renewals. The estimated need is for 2 to 7 teachers, serving in self-contained classrooms, resource/pull-out support, or inclusion/push-in settings. Candidates must hold a valid North Carolina General EC K-12 Licensure, an Adaptive Curriculum Licensure, or be eligible for immediate addition of the appropriate EC area to an existing NC teaching license. The selected vendor will be responsible for paying their employees, and HCPS will pay the agency within 30 days of invoice receipt. The contract is funded with federal assistance, requiring compliance with Uniform Guidance (2 C.F.R. Part 200).
