Description
Stony Brook University Hospital intends to purchase a surgical Versajet handpiece and related items. This procurement is being made under Premier contract PPOR2667, which is valid from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2029. This contract was awarded under a provision that allows for the purchase of commodities from a consortium or comparable entity without a formal competitive process when justified by price. Vendors who sell equivalent items or products are invited to contact the listed procurement officer to discuss the procurement. This procurement is subject to NYS Finance Law §§ 139 j&k, also known as the Lobbying Law. All communication regarding this procurement must be directed to the individual listed below. Failure to comply may result in consequences ranging from no contract award to debarment from sales to any NYS Agency. The successful contractor will be required to submit documentation related to Vendor Responsibility, NYS Finance Law § 139, NYS Tax Law Section 5-a, and valid/current NYS Workers' Compensation and Disability Forms. Proposals, if submitted, must be received by the close of business on the due date.
