The Mountain Area Workforce Development Board, part of the Land of Sky Regional Council, is seeking Letters of Intent (LOI) to bid from entities to serve as a WIOA Title I Program, Financial, and Performance Technical Assistance Provider. This service will support the Board in providing Adult, Dislocated Worker, and Youth WIOA Title I services in Buncombe, Henderson, Madison, and Transylvania Counties. The anticipated financial support for this technical support contract will not exceed $100,000, with an initial period of performance from August 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with potential for extension up to four years. Additionally, the Land of Sky Regional Council's WestNGN Program is requesting sealed proposals from qualified vendors to provide 750 laptops. The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit competitive bids for devices to support their device refurbishment program. The awarded organization will be expected to provide at least 100 laptops per month, with devices being no older than 4 years at the time of delivery and running Windows 11. The project timeline is accelerated, with proposals due April 16, 2026, and an award expected on April 17, 2026.
