Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is soliciting quotes for Borescope Inspection Kits for the Eastern Colorado Healthcare System (ECHCS). This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, and offers are requested by June 26, 2026. The requirement is for six (6) replacement Borescope Inspection Kits to support Sterile Processing Service operations, as the existing units are fragile and no longer meet operational needs. The kits must be durable, ultra-slim, and flexible digital cameras capable of detecting structural damage, contaminants, and moisture within instrument lumens. Key features include video-based imaging, two borescopes (39-inch and 98-inch, 1.3mm diameter), an optional 1.0mm diameter borescope, waterproofing to IPx7, compatibility with vaporized hydrogen peroxide sterilization, and a modular, maintainable design. The kits must be plug-and-play with standard Windows workstations via USB and integrate with existing quality feedback modules. Delivery is required within 30 days of award to the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center in Aurora, Colorado.
