Description
The City of Seattle, through Seattle City Light, seeks a consultant to serve as an independent greenhouse gas inventory verification body. The work covers California Air Resources Board verification for Electric Power Entity and Asset Controlling Supplier reports for emission years 2026–2028, Washington Department of Ecology verification for Electric Power Entity reports for emission years 2026–2028, and third-party verification of The Climate Registry inventories for emission years 2025–2027. The consultant must prepare conflict-of-interest documentation, verification plans, data findings and issues logs, verification reports and statements, and related submissions to CARB, Ecology, and The Climate Registry. The consultant must hold or obtain the specified CARB, Ecology, and The Climate Registry approvals and accreditations, including ANAB accreditation and the required organizational, power generation, and electric power transactions scopes. The estimated total budget is $90,000, with milestone deliverables due August 10, 2027, August 10, 2028, and August 10, 2029.
