Description
The City of Oak Ridge is requesting Statements of Qualifications from qualified tree service and vegetation management companies for placement in an as-needed contractor pool through Fiscal Year 2027, ending June 30, 2027. The pool will support routine, urgent, emergency, and storm-related assignments, with no guaranteed minimum quantity or dollar value of work. Potential services include tree pruning, trimming, and removal; emergency stabilization and removal of hazardous trees and limbs; brush cutting and chipping; vegetation clearing and mowing; licensed herbicide application when requested; loading, hauling, disposal or placement of generated debris; traffic and pedestrian control; work-zone protection; and site cleanup. Respondents must demonstrate applicable licensing, insurance, equipment, trained personnel, emergency availability, safety practices, and at least five similar-work references, including at least two projects performed within Oak Ridge. The SOQ must address business and license information, insurance, references, equipment and resources, personnel and experience, emergency response capability, safety, and any exceptions or additional information, and must include the completed Respondent Information and Certification form and Reference Form.
