Description
The City of Oak Ridge is soliciting bids for complete replacement of existing copper conductor on Montana and West Outer Drive with new 336 AL spacer cable. The work includes furnishing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, permits, and incidentals; installing poles, conductors, cable accessories, transformers, transfer equipment, and related overhead electric distribution components; and removing existing wood poles, primary assemblies, guy assemblies, anchors, transformers, switches, risers, and other listed equipment. The bid sheet covers three phases and includes approximately 48,684 linear feet of primary conductor, 8,377 linear feet of secondary conductor, 36,513 linear feet of overhead conductor, and associated installation and removal quantities. Bidders must submit the provided Bid Form with unit prices and a total price, along with a 10% bid guarantee, Drug-Free Workplace Affidavit, at least three references, and the Compliance with Iran Divestment Act form. The successful bidder must provide 100% completion and performance and labor and material bonds for the applicable contract year, required insurance, and sufficient qualified personnel and equipment. Work must be completed within 45 days after receipt of the notice to proceed; the contract term continues through June 30, 2027.
