Knoxville Utilities Board is soliciting bids from contractors pre-qualified in KUB category 3.2, Water Utility Construction, Unlimited, for replacement of gas and water mains on River Oak Drive. Contractors must hold the required pre-qualification before the bid opening; bids from non-pre-qualified contractors will not be accepted. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held by teleconference. The project has a bid-intent deadline of September 29, 2026, and bids open on October 1, 2026. The solicitation states that the required bid form must be firmly attached to the outside of the bid envelope or attached as the first page of an electronic bid submission; the complete bid-document package and submission instructions must be obtained and reviewed by bidders.
