Description
This Sources Sought notice is not a request for bids and does not include plans or specifications. The Federal Highway Administration is assessing interest from qualified small-business prime contractors, including HUBZone, woman-owned, 8(a), small disadvantaged, and service-disabled veteran-owned businesses, for the NV BL SONV 500(3) Red Rock Trail project. The anticipated project includes approximately seven miles of paved multi-use trail, grade-separated under-crossings along State Highway 159, widening of State Highway 159, reconstruction of the Moenkopi and Blue Diamond Mesa parking areas, embankment construction, roadway aggregate, asphalt concrete pavement, precast reinforced concrete box culverts, and mechanically stabilized earth walls in an environmentally sensitive area. Respondents must provide a statement of intent to bid as the prime contractor, applicable socioeconomic categories, a bonding-agent letter demonstrating capacity to bond a single $30 million project and stating aggregate bonding capacity, and examples of comparable projects involving the specified trail, roadway, parking, under-crossing, and environmental conditions.
