Description
The Clark County Department of Aviation is soliciting an annual-requirements contractor to perform generator inspections, corrective maintenance, load-bank testing, preventive maintenance, and inspections of automatic transfer-switch equipment. Work includes load-bank testing in three phases—30 minutes at 25 percent load, 30 minutes at 50 percent, one hour at 75 percent, followed by a 15-minute no-load cooldown—and may require up to 150 feet of cabling. The contractor is responsible for transportation, deployment, setup, takedown, and associated costs for testing equipment, including a required 2,500 kVA pad-mounted transformer for specified line items. County aviation automotive mechanics will perform engine and mechanical maintenance; oil, coolant, and fuel sampling is not included. Services will support equipment at Harry Reid International Airport, the Airport Rent-A-Car Center, Henderson Executive Airport, Jean Sport Aviation Center, and North Las Vegas Airport. Bids must be submitted electronically through the NGEM system; submissions by email, fax, or hard copy will not be considered. An optional site visit is scheduled for September 15, 2026, and the bid deadline is September 23, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time.
