Description
The Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Communicable Disease, has a need to purchase INSTI HIV-1/HIV-2 Antibody Tests. These tests can detect HIV antibodies up to 9 days earlier than the Western Blot, enabling earlier detection and response time, which is critical for immediate medical care, transmission prevention, and public health protection. This is a single-source purchase request for INSTI HIV-1/HIV-2 Antibody Tests from BioLytical Laboratories Inc. The BioLytical INSTI HIV-1/HIV-2 Antibody Test is the only FDA-approved rapid test that provides results in 60 seconds. BioLytical is the sole manufacturer and provider of these tests. The estimated dollar amount for this purchase is $75,000.00 for a 1-year term.
