Description
The Department of Children and Families (Department) is seeking information from interested parties regarding digital privacy protection and online personal information removal services. These services are intended for Department personnel who occupy high-risk or sensitive positions. The goal of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gather details on available service models, operational capabilities, privacy protection methodologies, reporting features, staffing approaches, pricing structures, and implementation considerations for online exposure mitigation services. The Department is researching commercially available services that can identify, monitor, suppress, and remove publicly accessible personal information from online sources to reduce privacy and safety risks for its personnel and their families. Services should cover a range of features including online personal information removal, data broker opt-out management, people-search website suppression, social media exposure mitigation, impersonation monitoring, search engine result reduction, and digital privacy monitoring. Experience providing services to child protective investigators, law enforcement, public sector investigators, attorneys, judges, or other high-risk government employees is particularly relevant. Respondents are also asked to describe their system architecture, including staffing models, whether services are performed within the United States, and any available dashboards, reporting tools, alerts, or case management capabilities. Information on system security, including data protection measures, compliance with standards, access controls, and incident response, is also requested. Implementation considerations such as onboarding timelines and staffing requirements, as well as ongoing maintenance processes for recurring removal requests, should be detailed.
