Description
The Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) is soliciting bids for a statewide STI/HIV laboratory testing services program. The contractor will perform Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV testing on specimens submitted by designated partners throughout Colorado. Services include providing collection supplies (blood collection tubes, CT/GC aptima kits validated for extra-genital testing, urine collection cups, vacutainers, needles), no-cost lockboxes and courier services, a web-based portal for test ordering and result viewing, and on-site STI/HIV screening at various locations across Colorado. The contractor must support electronic laboratory reporting (ELR) using HL7 messaging, report results within 72 hours, and provide technical assistance to partners. The contract has an initial term from July 15, 2026 to June 30, 2027, with up to two additional one-year renewal options. The annual budget is approximately $500,000, with a total three-year budget not to exceed $1,500,000.
