Description
Leon County, Florida is issuing this Request for Proposals (RFP) to qualified firms to provide roadway design services. The County intends to enter into agreements with multiple firms to meet anticipated needs. Services will be on an as-needed basis for small projects, primarily administered by the Public Works Division of Engineering Services, though other County divisions may also utilize the contract. The scope includes engineering services related to major roadway design, modification, maintenance, and other aspects of roadway design in accordance with FDOT and County standards. Services may include road widening, realignment, sidewalks, bike lanes, pavement design, drainage, and expert witness services. The contract period is three years with two optional one-year renewals, for a possible total of five years. All professional services must be performed by professionals licensed in Florida.
